Summary

The Museum of West African Art (MOWAA) is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our Facilities Management team.
This roles are critical to ensuring reliable power, security, and technology systems that support our world-class museum facility, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, panels, and power networks.
Troubleshoot and repair faults on power panels, distribution boards, wiring systems, UPS, and control panels.
Install and commission electrical wiring, components, and systems.
Monitor and record power meter readings to track energy usage, detect abnormalities, and support efficient power management.
Ensure compliance with safety codes, maintain logs, and support emergency power operations.

Requirements

SSCE/OND/HND/BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
2–5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance in commercial/industrial facilities.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
Relevant safety/electrical certifications are a plus.
