We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Modern Trade / E-Commerce Executive to manage and drive our brand’s presence across modern trade and online marketplaces.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with business registration and onboarding on e-commerce platforms, as well as a strong understanding of digital retail operations, product listing, and sales optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Register and onboard the company on relevant e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.
Manage relationships with e-commerce partners, aggregators, and modern trade outlets.
Ensure accurate and timely upload of product listings, descriptions, pricing, and images.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply chain to prevent out-of-stock situations.
Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, promotions, and customer feedback.
Support negotiations and agreements with e-commerce platforms and modern trade partners.
Develop and execute online promotional campaigns to drive visibility and sales.
Stay updated with platform policies, industry trends, and competitor activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in business registration and onboarding on e-commerce platforms.
Minimum of 2–5years’ experience in e-commerce operations, sales, or modern trade.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Jumia, Konga, Amazon, Shopify, etc.).
Good negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
