As a Business Development Officer in our multipurpose cooperative company, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence. Your responsibilities will include:
Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to acquire clients and customers. Develop and implement effective strategies for client acquisition.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue generation.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities and potential areas for business growth. Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders. Address client inquiries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Strategic Partnerships: Identify and foster strategic partnerships to enhance business development opportunities.
Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial relationships.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Customer Education: Educate clients and prospects about our fintech products and services.
Provide information and insights to help clients make informed decisions.
Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to business development.
Adherence to Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact business activities.
Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
Additional qualifications or certifications in business development are a plus.
3 – 5 years proven experience as a Business Development Officer, Sales Executive or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Solid understanding of a multipurpose cooperative industry, financial products and services.
Awareness of market trends, competitors and regulatory landscape.
Exceptional sales and negotiation skills.
Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Experience in managing client accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
